Install the Option GPS Control Panel

The GPS Control Panel is a software application that lets you control the GPS connection and easily access maps, local search and directions. Installing the Control Panel is quick and easy. It should take less than 5 minutes. 

1. Download and install the GPS Control Panel (PC version and Mac version are available). For PC, ensure that the AT&T Communication Manager has installed and that Velocity is connected through ACM.  For Mac, be sure GlobeTrotter Connect is installed.

2. Run the set up and follow the on-screen prompts.

3. For PC – find the Control Panel in your Start menu or in the system tray. For Mac, find the Control Panel in your toolbar.

Note, for optimal GPS performance, use Velocity with the enclosed USB extension cable and clip. GPS connectivity is best achieved outdoors with a clear view of the sky.
